Job Description

In this constantly evolving and exciting time, we are looking for an EMEA Digital Lead to lead digital strategy & operations on a large entertainment client. This role will cover the core ingredients that drive digital excellence from digital strategy, audience management, data & technology and digital activation. Reporting to the EMEA Managing Director and the Global Chief Digital Officer, the candidate will lead an EMEA team to sit centrally and integrate with local market leadership.

With a remit to design solution-oriented, revenue-generating products, this person will play a key role in stimulating highly strategic client opportunities and driving those relationships with existing client leadership. Your focus will be driving continued growth and success in meeting our Client’s transformation.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 Manage an integrated team covering digital strategy, data & technology and digital activation. This team will be our EMEA Clients’ go-to for all aspects of digital from strategy to operations. You will be expected to take on Client responsibilities, developing proposals for end-to-end future-focused solutions and leading activations to help our Client deliver strong performance and growth. Your central team will foster best-in-class innovation initiatives, POVs, consulting programmes and revenue models.

  Ongoing management of EMEA centralized Agency relationships for digital. Acting as the conduit and central point of contact for Agency needs; acting as the catalyst for Agency inspired innovation.

  Ensure delivery of best-in-class digital strategy across the core campaigns and manage a team of digital strategic planners.

 Drive excellence in digital campaign planning covering all aspects from audience identification & segmentation, audience management across multiple campaigns, channel and budget mix and media plan recommendations.

 Deliver innovative data and tech consultancy across EMEA (and RoW as required) ensuring the future readiness of our Client’s organisation.

  Oversee the delivery of operational services in data & technology, covering the provision of reporting solutions (e.g., automated dashboards) and audience segments via the Client’s DMP.

 Drive integration between strategy, data & tech operations and our digital hub delivering thousands of digital campaigns across EMEA.

 Ensure our digital hub operations are error free and deliver valuable campaign insights to identify best practices and continuously improve digital planning quality.

  Identify and build strong & open relationships with emerging tech and strategic partnership experts across Publicis.

  Maintain strong relationships with agency leadership, client teams and market practice leads to maximise project opportunities.

  Work tightly with the Partnerships teams, EMEA plus Global, to explore potential beyond commercial value into experimental, tech-enabled growth-driving firsts.

  Explore start-up innovations and ways to systemically support our Client in ‘lab’ models of perpetual and cyclical trials to explore growth through technology.

  Establish credibility as a central source of data and tech consultancy trends e.g., Blockchain, Metaverse, etc, and the go-to business resource for EMEA around emerging tech opportunities, markets and consumers to stimulate new opportunities.

  In coordination with Agency teams, consult on Client challenges and identify opportunities to increase Publics share of investment and drive adoption of Publicis Groupe proprietary solutions.

  Keep a pulse on the constantly evolving marketplace and collaborate closely with practice leads to ensure marketplace POVs address Client concerns and anticipate Client asks.

  Drive the best practice of execution and excellence for the digital hub. Ensure seamless delivery of the hub and proactive leadership of delivering the value and benefits story of a hub model.

  Play an active role in creating and driving Publicis team and culture across the organisation. Ensure that the broader team is taking on the journey of what we are executing in digital, data and technology.

  Solid understanding of data & tech landscape (experience in reporting and DMP are a +)

  Experience in digital activation across global platforms

  Proven leadership ability and previous client relationship experience

  Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

  Excellent time management and problem-solving skills

  Significant experience of driving organic growth with new services
