Job Description

Position Summary
We’re searching for a Financial Analyst who can monitor, maintain and complete client billing, report account maintenance processes, as well as track budgets, cash flow projections and execution of billing and receivables. You’ll be involved with process improvement projects and ad hoc reporting for business needs.
 

Tasks and responsibilities include:

·         Review key financial metrics and resolve issues proactively

·         Responsible for activity code lifestyle (open, lock, reconcile, close)

·         Maintain timely accurate client billing and the collection of support documentation

·         Start journal entries to ensure accurate allocations

·         Assist manager in audit preparation and response

·         Determine run rates to monitor financial progress against budgets

·         Generate system reports and analyze data to provide commentary

·         Ensure complete and accurately formatted documents for manager review

·         Suggest process improvements

·         Explain and translate financial reports to client teams and regional staff

·         Prioritize tasks to ensure accuracy and efficiency
 

 

Qualifications

To qualify, you’ll need:

·         4 years of college education (Finance, Accounting degree preferred)

·         1-3 years of experience in Finance or Accounting, including familiarity with the digital environment

·         Strong attention to detail

·         Excel skills, including pivot tables

·         Understanding of accounting concepts (debits/credits, revenue recognition, reserves/ absorptions)

·         Basic proficiency of other MS Office programs

·         Experience with PeopleSoft and/or SAP preferred

·         Interpersonal and communication skills

·         Ability to multitask

·         Strong organization skills
