Publicis Sapient is looking for a Senior .Net Backend Developer (Contract - 6 months) to join our team of bright thinkers and doers. As a Senior Developer, you will play a key role in delivering enterprise-level software to our client in the Financial Services industry. You should be comfortable working alongside a team as well as independently in the design and development of mission-critical mobile applications, websites, and layers of the infrastructure. Experience with .Net framework, C#, API, and Cloud (Azure) is helpful to succeeding quickly in this role.

Your Impact

• Participate in the development stage and play a hands-on developer role to deliver from design to deployment
• Participate and contribute to project estimations, system architecture, and performance engineering of projects
• Sets up the development and production environments and troubleshoots performance issues
• Work with the QA team to ensure that the software is fully unit tested, can be performance-tested, and passes quality requirements
• Develop and design solutions with keeping NFRs like performance, scalability, accessibility, maintainability, configurability, availability, and monitoring as part of the design
• Drives the performance tuning, re-design, and re-factoring for a module
• Customer-facing communication pertinent to Sapient’s technical expertise on the specific platform
• Follow and govern the engineering best practices set-up in team
• Own and provide a point of view to measure and improve the quality metrics
• Mentor and develop the technical skills of other software developers

• 4+ year of hands-on development experience in building components using .Net framework and solution using .NET core 
• Design, implement and support highly scalable applications and web API using Microsoft technologies (.Net, .Net Core, C#, SQL Server, Web API/Rest API)
• Experience in Microservices architecture with a good understanding of key Microservices based patterns
• Hands-on working knowledge of Cloud (Azure preferred)
• Strong understanding of OOPS fundamentals
• Experience in writing Unit test cases using MSTest and mocking framework
• Experience of working in an Agile team with CI/CD and DevOps Pipeline
• Strong collaborator and comfortable working in an agile, remote, and distributed team environment
