Job Description

Rauxa is looking for a Senior Strategist to join our team! This position requires working on east coast hours.

As a Senior Strategist at Rauxa, you will be responsible for contributing to the lifecycle management of our client’s customers. You’ll develop strategic creative briefs and multi-channel recommendations grounded in insights and data that meet client objectives and add value to the client’s brand.

To qualify for this position, you will have had prior experience creating multi-channel, multi-touch digital communications strategies as a Strategist or Senior Strategist at an advertising, marketing, digital or CRM/loyalty agency. You will have written creative briefs and developed strategic recommendations and have strong research skills with a test and learn mindset. You will be a strong communicator who can clearly articulate and sell through your strategic vision and programs to clients and tell a story through written documents and presentations. You are flexible, a team player, and stay up to date on the latest digital trends and CRM tactics. You thrive in fast-moving environments and know how to hustle effectively to get the job done.

What You’ll Do:   

  • Review client objectives and inputs to develop short and long-term integrated marketing and communications strategies for the client
  • Develop contact strategies to maximize the brand experience throughout the customers life cycle journey from acquisition, onboarding, up sell, cross-sell and retention
  • Develop test and learn agendas to uncover opportunities to outperform benchmarks
  • Develop and deliver strategic client presentations
  • Utilize customer segmentation to deliver effective messaging that drives results
  • Work with the data team to proactively optimize activities against results
  • Work cross-functionally within the agency to ensure the successful execution of client and agency strategies
  • Write creative briefs and oversee the strategy of all client campaigns and projects, providing the Creative team direction to ensure the marketing and creative work is on-strategy and on-brand throughout all rounds of review
  • Perform secondary research on industry trends, reports, and consumer trends to develop insights on performance and segmentation
  • Participate in results reviews and help articulate insights and recommendations for tactics, tests and long-term program results gains for KPIs
  • Support the identification and generation of new business and revenue opportunities by working with Account Services, Creative, and Database Strategy on strategic development
  • Serve as a thought leader and subject matter expert within the agency, with clients, and within the industry at large – across a CRM specialty such as analysis, social, email marketing, an industry specialty, or other deep expertise
  • Mentor junior strategists

Qualifications

Who You Are:   

  • You have a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or equivalent work experience preferred
  • You have 5+ years of experience as a Strategist in a marketing or advertising agency, creating, leading, and selling through digital, direct and/or integrated marketing strategies and solution
  • You have an advanced understanding of integrated marketing principles including digital, direct, and database marketing; Experience with brand strategy is a plus
  • You are highly resourceful, with strong research skills and a working knowledge of marketing analytics  
  • You have the ability to synthesize information from various sources to create an actionable point of view and direction for a project
  • You have the ability to create effective & persuasive client presentations in PowerPoint & Keynote
  • You have the ability to convert strategic plans into actionable ones
  • You have the ability to influence and be persuasive
  • You have the ability to effectively prioritize and meet deadlines
  • You have the ability to work in a flexible, dynamic and fast-paced environment; managing multiple projects and accounts concurrently
  • You are proactive and are able to work independently
  • You are highly creative, with first-rate conceptual skills
  • You have exceptional visual, oral and written communications skills
