Job Description

  • The Financial Reporting Sr. Associate will work as part of the International financial reporting team, with focus on SEA market. The team coordinates forecast and all reporting functions across all business units for Publicis Sapient SEA. This includes monthly, quarterly, and annual performance. The Financial Reporting Sr. Associate will help with timely variance analysis, KPI/metric reporting, and special projects as needed. The position will work with various financial and business leaders across the organization with high visibility.
  • A successful Financial Reporting Sr. Associate candidate will have the ability to manage multiple/concurrent projects, adapt to changing business requirements in a fast-paced work environment, a comfort level in interacting with all levels of the organization including senior management, an inquisitive and curious nature, and a commitment to delivering financial solutions that balance business needs with regional and corporate obligations.
  • Key Areas of Responsibilities
  • Monthly, Quarterly and Annual financial analysis (Budget, Forecast and Actuals)Support Market Finance Manager and local CFO in monthly and quarterly closes to understand and be able to explain all significant variances to budget/forecast by reaching Controllership teams
  • Consolidate financial forecasts and reports from business unit by rolling up inputs and reaching out for commentary when required
  • Prepare weekly Guidance file focusing on revenue by Q vs pipeline and other KPI as well as maintain application
  • Collaborate and help coordinate various processes
  • Ensure efficiency and consistency of planning across divisions
  • Effectively partners with representatives from other internal departments across the organization to ensure financial perspectives are considered in broader initiatives
  • Proactively considering improvements to existing processes how new decisions will impact existing processes.
  • Support and co-ordinate all information gathering including KPI and other metrics
  • Ensures business is running smoothly and efficiently in terms of financial processes and operations
  • Creates and delivers management reports on key initiatives, metrics, opportunities and risks.
  • Ensure accurate and timely submission of all reports in compliance with Group’s deadline.
  • Ad hoc analysis, projects, and other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • 2 to 4 years of experience within FP&A or Financial/Management Reporting
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • IT industry / consulting experience preferred
  • Proficient in in MS Excel is essential (Pivot tables, power query, …) .
  • Knowledge of Hyperion/Oracle BI/SAP software will be a relevant advantage
  • Committed, detail oriented, self-starter with strong problem solving and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Communication skills to clearly and accurately convey metrics and analysis to management levels.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects / initiatives on tight schedules and timelines
  • Attention to detail and strong analytical, solution-oriented thinking
