Job Description

We are looking for a DesignOps Director to help our experience talent to do their best work and support a healthy experience design organization and culture, we need well-structured and smooth internal operations.  Our DesignOps Director will help build and manage scalable internal process and tools that remove overhead from our experience leaders, take a role in developing a national design team culture, and evolve processes, systems, and programs that enable the CX org to scale with strength.  Help us unlock the kind of change PS Experience needs to deliver bold change to better serve our clients.  

The UX/Creative Ops is a part of the Publicis Sapient Experience Design Capability. This group is the bridge between business strategy and technology, creating meaningful, holistic experiences for our clients and their customers.   • Collaborate with senior leaders to champion an internal Experience culture, one that seeks to raise the bar on performance, expectations, and outcomes to deliver outsized impact for clients and internal initiatives;
  • Define, operationalize, and evolve our processes, practice and culture across our NA experience organization;
  • Help develop connectivity across our NA offices and capabilities;
  • Develop, manage, and communicate key metrics on the health of the Experience team’s operations – e.g. skill needs, resource use, team performance, and talent health and engagement;
  • Develop strong collaborative partnerships with key stakeholders in our organization’s operations - including staffing, hiring, capacity - to ensure that we can deliver on company strategy;
  • Design and execute a standard cadence of goal setting and portfolio planning for experience teams/accounts to drive better client impact;
  • Diagnosing and helping solve operational or organizational issues on project teams, to improve Experience team performance;
  • As needed, socialize our approach to DesignOps with existing clients who are looking to build their own capability;
  • Capture, catalog, and disseminate content for reuse across offices/teams/clients; 
  • Organize NA-level events – town halls, work shares, and other communities;
  • Advocate for team needs related to process, tools, documentation, asset management, etc;
  • Manage and track our NA Experience investment budget.
  • Drive business cases for experience initiatives requiring investment funding

Qualifications

  • 10 years professional experience in an DBT/experience design/product environment, with at least 5 years working in a design operations role, as a creative chief-of-staff, or similar role in a fast-paced, multi-geography design organization;
  • Capable of finding or imposing order in ambiguous environments, and creating momentum around priorities;
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously;
  • Proven ability to tackle a diverse set of organizational challenges, recognize patterns, and develop strategic and scalable solutions;
  • Ability to collect, manage, and communicate with quantitative and qualitative data;
  • Highly collaborative with strong interpersonal skills and cross-functional leadership;
  • Able to demonstrate how their work has helped lead teams to reaching those goals that impact their customer’s/client’s success;
  • strong affinity for Experience, with a passion for design, culture, trend, and sustainability; this helps you to successfully advocate for and represent design with other teams;
  • Understand how creatives work, their needs and their mindset - experience working with creatives required;
  • deep understanding of high-efficiency, high-output decentralized design organizations.
