The Marlboro brand is leading the way within Altria on building capabilities in digital, personalization and CRM. This position supports the work we do from a brand building perspective in terms of creating brand engagements (i.e. content that lives on Marlboro.com and within e-mail drivers, promotions that live on pack and on the web and include direct mail and e-mail drivers, product launches that include retail POS in addition to all other channels) as well as the work we do to deliver one to one personalization at scale with our adult smokers 21+ (i.e.. Marlboro.com and ongoing CRM programs).

 

We are looking for someone with a lot of enthusiasm and energy. Someone who is a self-starter, curious and eager to jump in and learn all aspects of the business. The AAE will support a team who runs the Marlboro content platforms. As a people person, the candidate should be able to work with a diverse group of individuals – internal and external. Responsibilities include leading the execution of various program deliverables to deliver to market and acting as a liaison between client and team to deliver relevant information, securing feedback and approvals and routing through the internal and external stakeholders (legal, regulatory, etc.) so attention to detail will be important.

Job Description

Primary responsibilities will include managing projects against their timelines and ensuring timely review and sign-off by all the stakeholders and final asset delivery. Will have some client contact as necessary with the respective clients across the bodies of work. Will interact with the creative and UX teams, creative studio, production and project management. Will be a primary point of contact for legal and copy-editing groups as large part of responsibility is to ensure work is routing to key stakeholder groups. Work expands across many channels/media/deliverables: web, database CRM, email, promotions, etc.

Qualifications

Hard skills: A Bachelor's degree in marketing or other closely related field. No agency experience required but ideally desired. Desired agency experience would include – Branding/Campaign work, cross-channel digital experience (web, app, email, digital strategy, promotions, content production) budget management, timeline management, strong business writing (e-mail and presentations).

 

Soft skills: Curious, energetic, comfortable on a large team with a lot of diverse personalities, cool under pressure, able to prioritize large workload and stay focused on key details, strong work-ethic, strong interpersonal skills to work well across a large team with a lot of departments, must be comfortable working with a passionate team – not afraid to speak up, flexible as priorities change.
