Job Description

The Programmatic Account Manager will work with the Programmatic Account Director to devise and deliver best in class YouTube strategies that drive real business results, in response to clients’ business objectives. The Programmatic Account Manager will line manage an Account Exec to ensure client strategy is followed, oversee the effective execution of campaigns and ensure smooth running of accounts. They will engage with and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to elevate our work, and will confidently challenge where necessary in order to push best practice and deliver the best results possible.

This role will work on TikTok EMEA and MENA account. The YouTube remit for TikTok will include high profile campaigns and time sensitive activations, so good communication, excellent organisation and strong attention to detail are key. The Programmatic Account Manager will deliver on four key objectives:

1.              Strategic Thought Leadership

Demonstrates thorough technical knowledge across YouTube & the wider Online Video (Programmatic) space, drives innovation and constantly refines strategic approach by executing test & learns, pitching and executing activity on new platforms, running alpha/betas, securing agency or category firsts.

2.              Account Growth & Maturity

Grows and develops accounts, consistently increasing spend and platform/product adoption.

3.              Team Management

Effectively manages client deliverables, developing techniques to appropriately prioritize and distribute workload and responsibilities across the team. Ensures client needs are met and seeks ways to improve efficiency through implementing new processes or tools.

4.              Developing Direct Reports

Sets challenging and stretching tasks to grow the expertise and confidence of the Senior Account Executive. Provides on the job training, constructs compelling development plans and holds frequent development discussions to inspire and motivate team members. 

 

Team/Department Profile:

Zenith has set up a dedicated programmatic team which sits within Zenith Performance. The team is there to support with all aspect of the programmatic service layer, from strategy and planning to activation and reporting. While the team is involved in the campaign activation for a selection of high profile Zenith clients, the team is not solely confined to campaign activation and planning. There is a growing need for project based support of a longer and more strategic nature across a number of industry topics (traditional & emerging).

Responsibilities:

·       Clear and timely communication with clients and other members of the team

·       Ensure client strategy is followed and day to day campaign planning is in line with wider client business goals.

·       Ensure activation of client activity across YouTube runs according to plan and free of errors.

·       Provide support for your team as well as opportunities for development and learning. Have one to one career development catch ups with direct reports and manage the appraisal process.

·       Define and develop your team organizational approach, implement and develop efficient standard processes across the team to streamline tasks.

·       Champion best practice and produce at least one case study worthy piece of work per quarter.

·       Execute at least one significant test & learn per quarter, with the aim of challenging our core strategic approach to platforms. These tests should focus on major elements of our strategy.

·       Disseminate key platform updates to the rest of the team and agency.

·       Ensure your team delivers a high standard of work across planning, reporting, optimization, communication, billing, reconciliation and all other tasks required as part of running the designated accounts.

·       Help facilitate a strong ‘team’ ethos and exhibit focused and positive team leadership.

·       Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders: Client Planning teams, Buying Teams across all disciplines, Clients, Media Owners and tech providers.

Qualifications

Experience planning, managing and activating large-scale programmatic video campaigns.

·       Advanced knowledge of YouTube planning and activation via either DV360 or Google Ads.

·       Hands on experience with DV360 & alternative platforms e.g. TTD, MM or Amazon

·       Strong knowledge of the programmatic supply ecosystem and best in breed strategies and partners across EMEA

·       Up to date certifications: DV360 Certification

·       Ability to thrive under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

·       Strong leadership, communication skills and ability to engage with client and agency stakeholders.

·       Be solution driven and innovative with how they drive performance for their accounts.

·       Direct client management experience.

·       Strong evidence of delegation.
