Job Description

We are looking for a digital-first strategist who is adept in understanding how brands win customer’s loyalty through connected experiences. You’ll combine smart lateral thinking with the drive for effective results. Versatility is the key characteristic we look for in a Senior Strategist. An ability to connect thinking across touchpoints brand, creative, content and media. You’ll join the strategy Customer Experience practice, which delivers end-to-end solutions to help clients orchestrate their role, offering, audience, experience, platforms and products. The successful candidate will therefore possess strong knowledge of experience, market research, human insights and building fresh point of views on clients business

The Senior Strategist is an inventive individual that naturally owns the strategic agenda. Someone that brings creativity and authority to the role and a collaborative style that fits Digitas’ internal culture and external relationship with clients. Key responsibilities:

  • Uncover unique insights and directions that help define a vision and roadmap
  • Customer journey mapping and forming scenarios that drive customer lifetime value
  • Guide the entire ideation process and support efforts all the way through to delivery
  • Strong insight based strategic foundations which the creative and cx teams can use to construct their proposals
  • A champion for customer lifetime value and how to make data-driven decisions
  • Uncover clients’ unrealised needs using insightful questions and developing rapport
  • Play a key team role in pitch and business development requirements
  • Identify strategic opportunities that help to sell in appropriate new services
  • Maintain relationships and support strategy leaders in Digitas and Groupe
  • Coach & develop junior talents and peers so that all members contribute well
  • Develop the right expectations, manage stakeholders and own quality delivery.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • At least 5 years of strategy and planning experience in relevant digital creative agencies – relevant consulting and brand-side experience also considered
  • Knowledge and implementation of end-to-end customer experience strategies, including customer research, strategy, vision & design
  • Ability to develop customer strategies and content strategies and a suitable track record in synthesising customer intelligence from data to dialogue into compelling customer or user journey maps
  • Detailed understanding of marketing effectiveness and best-practice measurement and benchmarking
  • Exposure to a variety of industry verticals with depth and breadth of expertise drawn from at least two of these categories: Travel & Hospitality, Food & Beverage, FS, Consumer Electronics, Pharma
  • Ability to work independently and work in a collaborative way with members of multi-functional teams (accounts/data/creative/PM)
  • Up-to-date knowledge on leading marketing technologies (Martech) and digital experience platforms (DXP) popular in APAC
