Job Description

This is a hybrid role, part production/creative/art direction.  We are looking for a designer to join our team, someone with a true passion for art direction, design and an eye for detail.  The right candidate will be responsible for developing graphic executions through a variety of tactics in both traditional print and digital media and implementing approved creative across versions and layouts.

This individual will sit on-site at the client facility and partner closely with Sr. Creatives and the cross-functional team to understand and execute creative strategies.

Day to Day

  • Implementing approved creative across all versions and layouts, including developing new layouts.
  • Participate in brainstorms and provide a creative POV grounded in the creative brief.
  • Researches industry trends to provide design foresight.
  • Brings strategic, innovative ideas to life from concept through to final execution.
  • Collaborate with Creative and Production team members on needed final high-resolution images.
  • Update all comp version imagery with final high-resolution versions.
  • Precise layout of files containing large amounts of detailed information.
  • Format digital assets for proofing and delivery including uploading to proofing system.
  • Assist with some image implementation tasks.
  • Collaborate with other members of creative team and production team to ensure design intent and delivery of all needed versions.
  • Check files for proper links, kerning, bleed, and legal copy.
  • Make straightforward edits to files in the late stages of design.
  • Package and deliver files to prepress team.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of experience in Agency Studios, Production environments, and or Creative Production or Creative Design.
  • Command of the Adobe Creative Suite is essential (Illustrator, InDesgin, Photoshop.) 
  • A working knowledge of PowerPoint is required.
  • Ensure consistency of brand equity across all work is demanded. 
  • Collaboration with creative and cross-functional team is expected.
  • Must understand how to build digital files efficiently and properly. 
  • Must have experience using die-lines for print and work within digital specs.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects at a time on tight timelines is critical.
  • Demonstrate a working knowledge of basic graphic design principles, digital landscape.
  • Must possess the interpersonal skills necessary to effectively exchange important information with internal team, and manage efficient workflow.
  • Able to apply sound judgment while working independently.
  • Good communication skills; able to forge trusting relationships within a diverse cross functional team.
  • Associates, Bachelors, BFA, degree preferred, majoring in art, graphic design, production or advertising.
