VP/Director – Data & Analytics

Digitas is a highly-caffeinated playground where brilliant minds come together to bring bold, award-winning ideas to life.  Our Data & Analysis team is a group of curious, agile, and collaborative strategic analysts.  We collect, connect, and analyze data, transforming it into meaningful stories that drive overall marketing strategy and smarter business decisions.  To help with this, we’re looking for an outstanding VP/Director specific to Social — someone who welcomes ambiguity, thinks critically and strategically, has a passion for social platforms, is excited to both manage direct ongoing client relationships and lead an internal team. Day-to-day, your role includes: 

·           Assisting clients in defining social analytics needs and developing solutions to solve those challenges, shepherding them in the right direction

·           Fostering creative thinking around how we use data in support of paid and owned social media activations

·           Connecting disparate data sets to provide holistic analyses and business assessments

·           Thinking beyond day-to-day responsibilities to ensure social data and analysis does not live in a silo

·           Being a cross-capability visionary

·           Identifying and assessing new strategic data-driven partners and services

·           Creating frameworks and methodologies for approaching major strategic issues, leveraging existing Digitas intellectual capital and developing innovative concepts

·           Providing support, coaching, and training to assist in the career development of direct reports and the broader team

 

We’re looking for strong, impactful work experience, which typically includes:

-          10-12 years of experience in marketing or management consulting

-          Data storytelling experience

-          Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem solving skills

-          Deep knowledge of or passion for social media platforms  

-          Strong client relationship skills

-          Proven leadership ability with track record of collaborative work ethic

-          Business maturity

-          A four-year college degree

-          The ability to thrive in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment

-          Open to travel as needed
