Software Engineers within Publicis Media concentrate on the development, implementation, and ongoing innovation of world class leading engineering products, business analytics, and next generation technologies. The Software Engineer we are looking to join our team will be on point for the design, development, implementation and on-going support of web applications. The role will consist of both .NET development using C#, web development using MVC architecture and database development. Your ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, including both enhancements as well as new project development, will be key in the successful delivery of end-products. Included in design and development of these applications requires a collaborative spirit to partner with the broader engineering team whilst partnering on different layers of the infrastructure.

Your day to day will include:

• Translating application storyboards and use cases into functional applications
• The design, build, and maintenance of efficient, reusable, and reliable C# code
• Integration with 3rd party API’s for data consumption
• Integration with data storage solutions such as SQL Server, Redshift
• Ensuring the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
• Identifying bottlenecks and bugs, devising solutions to mitigate and address these issues
• Integration of the front-end and back-end aspects of the web application
• Collaboration with other team members and stakeholders

• 0-3 years of development experience
• A self-starting sense of urgency with an eye to commitment of quality and professionalism.
• Strength in ASP.Net MVC, C#, .NET Core
• Strong understanding of JavaScript and jQuery
• Knowledge and understanding of JS frameworks like React, Kendo-UI is preferred
• Knowledge of Entity Framework, OWIN, IoC, WebAPI
• Experience working with cloud technologies such as Amazon Web Services
• Strong knowledge of writing Web APIs and consuming RESTful and SOAP APIs
• Strong knowledge of MS SQL Server and TSQL
• Good knowledge of MVC and MVVM patterns
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as GitHub
• Familiarity with continuous integration tools like TeamCity
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred
