Job Description

*This role is able to remain 100% remote even after employees return to the office.

The Senior Business Affairs Manager will manage all talent and licensing aspects of production including SAG-AFTRA/ACTRA/UDA/AFM Commercials contract interpretation and Celebrity, Social Influencer and Licensed Music negotiations and agreements.

Work also with agency Legal to ensure adherence to client, agency and third-party contracts and all laws pertaining to third-party rights including trademark, property, and publicity rights as well as securing indemnification for sharing of assets.

Attends weekly Account status meetings and updates the teams on the status of licensed properties, upcoming expirations, holding fees and production considerations.

Works with Producers on talent budgets, casting specifications, contract negotiations and licensing properties. Determine the best production approach including Traditional Model vs. Alternate Compensation Structure, possible use of digital waivers and still photography and negotiated edits for internet content.

Attends monthly status meetings with Finance clients when requested to discuss how upcoming production may affect the talent residuals budgets.

Meets with Marketing clients as needed to review and discuss union talent contract interpretation, talent costs, licensed properties and use limitations.

And finally, works with Publicis Groupe affiliates in the US and globally, to ensure compliance for use of agency-produced materials for mutual clients.
