Job Description

As a member of the Nestlé Worldwide account team, the role of Account Manager will be to effectively support the Account Director in the day to day management and delivery of best in class media services to the European and global headquarters for Nestlé.  

The ideal candidate needs to demonstrate excellent client management skills, industry knowledge & proven ability across all media including and especially digital media.  Most importantly, candidates should have a self-starting attitude combined with an eagerness to learn and continuously improve. The role will focus on key areas of client service, project management, strategic planning and teamwork.

You will build strong client relationships to understand the needs and requirements in order to initiate and sell-in support and services. You will respond to various client requests in the day to day servicing of assigned account, be responsible for the delivery of each project - planning, budgeting, resourcing. You will produce insightful, innovative and clearly articulated presentations, develop contact reports after each client meeting or conference call and display critical thinking and challenges internal and external outputs.

Qualifications

Experience working in the media industry in an account or planning role and demonstrated ability to work across projects and teams.  Exposure to both traditional and digital media is preferred.  Proficiency with media research and industry tools is essential.

  • Efficient time management and prioritisation of multiple projects across different business units
  • Coordination of agency resources including planning, digital, trading, search
  • Development and creation of target profiles for planning initiatives using planning tools (e.g. GWI & TGI)
  • Digital background to work with digital specialists to ensure best practice in planning, implementation and measurement of all digital activity
  • Analyse consumer data, identify key learning and insights and develop recommended actions
  • Accurate reporting and analysis of client and competitor activity
