Midweight Art Director

  • Full-time

Company Description

Digitas Health London is the People-Powered Health agency: We help brands engage with people to deliver ideal health, now. We design transformative experiences that move people further along the path to health at any moment. By putting the power to change health outcomes in the hands of patients, healthcare professionals, carers, and payers, we help health brands create value across today’s connected health ecosystem. To do this, we start with a generous, behaviour-driven ideal then work in lean, agile and iterative ways to turn the ideal into action.

We are a generous, idealistic, straight-talking collection of creatives, strategists, analysts, social media experts, PMs, and client service leads. We work together to help people-centric health brands deliver new business value through new customer experiences. Whether connected content programmes, mobile apps, digital services, or social communities, we use digital and emerging technologies to help healthcare brands build loyalty, break habits, connect care ecosystems and disrupt traditional markets.

As part of Publicis Health, our small-but-mighty team works to bring applied innovation to a range of global, EMEA and UK clients, working in collaboration with other DH offices in Philadelphia, New York, San Francisco and other sister agencies in London, Windsor and around the world. Job Description

Do you breathe creativity in everything you do? Does your work show a vast range and push the limits? Can you work your magic on anything, from brand identity, to an app, to an experiential stunt and make every idea killer? Can you make that jaw-dropper more than a show stopper and bake in rational and strategic thinking? Can you take that work and sell it with a passion that grabs clients by the heart and makes them say ‘wow’? And when you’ve sold one great are you looking for what’s next, how to, looking to learn and be even better next time?

If so, then we want to grab you and never let go.

No creative is an island, you’ll need to work closely with the rest of the creative team (and agency) to dream about the big ideas – for cool apps, social campaigns, digital experiences, connected devices, and offline events. And you’ll need the ability to tie them together with a campaign bow.

You also have the design chops to bring those ideas to life with some visual wow. You’ll inspire the creative team, the agency and our clients to bring your vision to life. You’ll ensure all your work is outstanding, working with the Creative Director to oversee projects and campaigns.

This role is very much hands-on, with responsibility for the quality of output across a diverse range of accounts. Teamwork and collaboration will need to be at the heart of your work. If you’re the sort of person who thrives in this type of environment then we’d love to hear from you.

Qualifications

  • You will be a skilled art director with an eye for small detail and a love of big conceptual ideas – and ready to take your work to the next level
  • You’ll be a wiz with the conceptuals and able to get designers, suppliers and specialists to aid in your realisation. You shouldn’t be averse to rolling up your sleeves and getting the design work done when the situation calls for it
  • You will be experienced in working as part of a larger creative team that brings your vision and the client’s expectation to life as part of a successful business
  • You have an enquiring mind – with the vision to see how the intricacies of medical advertising can be pushed further and made better, and the desire to get to the bottom of the problem and create something new that doesn’t just mimic the arbitrary rules of before
  • You’ll be able to use a broad toolset to create effective presentations (e.g. industry standards like PPT and keynote but also digital whiteboards like MIRO as well as Zoom et al to sell your ideas no matter when and how the presentation is held)
  • You’ll be completely fluent with the industry standards in CS suite but also have passing knowledge of the specialist ends of the suite and knowledge of XD/sketch/InVision. What you don’t know, you get to grips with quickly to make your project complete
  • You have a background of creativity and intelligent applications of your vision, with a portfolio that sets our heart racing
