Job Description

Working with the Regional Overseas team and supporting a lead Account Director – your role will be supporting the AD in managing the connections and information flow between our 18 markets and also supporting to build a content ‘hub’ which will be developing tactical campaign needs to be used across all markets.  

 

As a region we support our local 18 market Emil teams with insights, information and content of all Global campaigns being developed. In addition supporting the continuous optimisation of creative to share and scale assets created from one market / central client / regional client. 

Our priority in the region is to reduce unnecessary creative origination and therefore deliver effectiveness on campaigns that scale and are adapted and adopted assets across the region.  

 

You’ll be expected to work directly with markets (From Australia to Middle East to South Asia to Mexico!) and coordinate with them on their local marketing plans, understand and capture issues or blockers and manage these areas directly with key clients within the Daimler regional overseas team. 

 

As Creative Project Manager / Account Manager you will be responsible for supporting the connection between Regional and Global creative content 18 overseas markets to support the rollout of model launches, always on campaigns and localisation strategy. This will involve scoping, estimating, and writing of proposals for activities which will be implemented later in the year. 

 

We have adopted an Agile approach so you will implement Kanban/Scrum board processes, help prioritise and plan work, as well as defining new processes to improve the management of ad-hoc requests and optimise our general ways of working. 

 

An understanding of these creative and artwork production areas is critical, as you’ll be liaising with production teams, creative teams and an understanding of asset delivery.

 

Previous experience of working in a creative or digital agency on a global client with multiple agency partners is ideal. Additional experience of transformation in marketing communications and consultancy would be an advantage. An understanding of the automotive industry would also be helpful and working in any environment operating a Global, Regional to Local ecosystem would also be useful.

 

Our Regional clients are based in Stuttgart, whilst the team is split across Berlin, London and Malaysia. This role will be based in Berlin, though as we are working from home during the Covid pandemic being able to work independently is essential. 

 

Qualifications

  • 5+ years proven experience in project management with a broad understanding of brand, digital, social and data-driven marketing projects
  • Further understanding of areas such as: web analytics, personalization, search, customer journey analysis, A/B-testing, programmatic, rich media desirable
  • Experience working in Global/Local operating models with ability to manage diverse stakeholder groups desirable
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills; ability to plan for all eventualities; identify risks and provide solutions to issues
  • Familiar with Agile, able to setup processes and coaching the teams and client
  • Ability to work under pressure, to prioritise, to multitask and to manage the process from start to finish
  • Ability to absorb challenges and move forwards without stress
  • A strong communicator, negotiator and influencer whose opinion will be heard and who is forceful enough to keep the team working to defined roadmaps
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all levels
  • A rapid learner with the ability to simplify complexity 
  • Proven experience to scope and shape accurate estimates, contract writing and proposals under pressure
  • Able to build and shape project teams as requirements emerge and to grow in line with commercial constraints
  • Accurate and insightful project reporting to help steer and course align teams
  • Strong team leader with ability to empower members to deliver success
  • Willing to be hands-on with detail to get tasks done but able to think about the bigger picture
  • Solid writing and speaking skills in English, German is a plus
