We’re looking for a Video Editor (Lead) to ensure our digital creatives have the magic of video in them. This role is geared for the future and is an integral part of what we do.

What you will do

Leadership

  • Manages their team and direct reports (if present now, or aim to grow the team).
  • Involved in daily workflow oversight and delegation, ensures adherence to process.
  • Initiates/collaborates on projects across teams to bring and meet video needs to the key operational areas of Creative and Operations as a whole.
  • Manages projects, works across teams to meet company and creative goals focusing on clearly defined results.
  • Successfully works across teams by handling multiple projects, smart prioritization, along with attention to detail and deadlines.
  • Takes a proactive approach towards designers, engineers, account managers and front-end developers in managing communication around the work.

Video Proficiency

  • Adept at handling digital design work, animation and integration of video into the digital world by partnering with an Art Director or team partner/s.
  • Able to tell the brand story succinctly within the digital banner medium.

Innovation

  • Proactively engage in driving video on the digital medium for clients and work across teams in ensuring personalization and automation sync with brand needs.
  • Inspire and knowledge-share on the latest developments in the video space and discover ways to include that in our offering.
  • Aim to be a Subject Matter Expert in relevant tools/software.

Qualifications

  • Masters/Bachelor’s degree in Video Editing/Digital Media (with focus on video).
  • 5 - 7 years’ experience serving in a video editing capacity. 3+ direct management of teams preferred.
  • Must have experience in direct management of personnel and/or teams.
  • Must demonstrate excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent sense of motion design, animation, sound editing, sound design and minimal videography expertise.
  • Excellent collaborative, partnership skills.
  • Receptive to feedback and revisions.
  • Organized, error-free and methodical with assets.
  • Ability to work quickly and adapt speed and direction based on project demands.
  • Proven ability to translate complex concepts into relevant, actionable content for stakeholders using video.
  • Ability to couple strong visual eye with love for narrative.
  • Mastery of 2D animations using Adobe After Effects, working knowledge of 3D animations.
  • Advanced with Adobe Premier and After Effects.
  • Proficient with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
  • Well-rounded portfolio of work.
