Job Description

This newly opened role offers an opportunity to work across multiple clients in Zenith’s global paid social team, giving a wide range of experience and exposure to varied business challenges. The Paid Social Account Executive will work on Edrington’s The Macallan, a luxury Scotch Whiskey focused on multi-market awareness activity, Tork, the leading global brand in workplace hygiene, multiple Nestlé brands (KitKat, Nespresso) as well as recent new business opportunities on Acer, Combe and RSA, which will provide opportunity to work on direct response orientated activity.

The core purpose of the Paid Social Account Executive is to deliver best-in-class paid social activation, ensuring faultless execution of brand and performance advertising campaigns on global social channels (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Snapchat, Pinterest, TikTok) and ensure that performance meets or exceeds targets.

The Paid Social Account Executive will deliver on four key objectives:

1.     Campaign Optimisation & Reporting

Ensure that campaigns meet or exceed their target KPI and proactively look for opportunities to advance campaign optimisation. Responsible for producing, updating and understanding campaign reports and support with the production of detailed Post Campaign Analysis, including relevant graphs, core learnings and actionable insights.

2.     Campaign Implementation & Technical Expertise

Ability to accurately implement both brand awareness and direct response campaigns on social platforms. Understands the principles, processes and systems available to maximize campaign performance and efficiency.

3.     Campaign Planning & Product Knowledge

Familiar with the full product suite within Facebook Family of Apps, as well as Twitter, Snapchat, LinkedIn, Pinterest and TikTok and able to confidently answer most client questions. Assists with key planning tasks including audience segmentation, benchmark extraction and reach and frequency predictions. Keeps up to date with all industry developments, knows and adheres to best practices and proactively looks for opportunities to feed into campaign planning.

4.     Financial Diligence

Through strict adherence to Finance Process and attention to budget checking, keeps campaign pacing and spending on track. Responsible for timely booking and reconciliation of campaigns, and in the event of any finance queries, is able to independently resolve.

Team/Department Profile:

This role will report into the Account Manager in the Zenith Global Paid Social team, a rapidly growing and successful team of 25 paid social experts.

Key Responsibilities:     

  • Multi-market campaign activation across social platforms, in line with plans
  • Campaign optimisation to consistently improve campaign performance
  • Production of weekly and monthly multi-market campaign reports with detailed insights and recommendations, preparation of detailed Post Campaign Reports and presentation of results to clients
  • Full ownership of the financial process; close attention to budget checking, timely booking and reconciliation of paid social activity
  • Clear and timely communication with clients and other members of the team

Qualifications

  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication skills and client servicing experience.
  • Ability to work quickly and accurately, in a fast paced environment
  • A hunger to learn and keep up to date with media industry developments
  • Strong command of Excel and confidence with basic functions

Will Ideally Have

  • Prior experience in advertising or media
  • Understanding of the wider digital landscape
  • Completed online social media training courses or platform certifications e.g. Facebook Blueprint, Twitter Flight School and Snapchat Advertising Essentials
