Right now, we have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Digital Designer (with a focus on motion and animation) to join our Digital and Social creative studio in Sydney.

In this role you will be responsible for the conceptual and design output of the agency’s digital and social campaigns, delivering work for a variety of our biggest clients. Collaborating with the Managing Editor, a second Senior Digital Designer (digital design) and working with the broader design, creative and production team, you’ll be able to work at pace to ideate, craft, deliver and edit the highest quality digital & social campaigns.

You’ll be an optimistic, proactive problem solver, approachable, helpful, and able to collaborate with designers and the wider team, who loves getting involved with the culture of the agency and its people. You’ll also take pride in all levels of our work, from expertly delivering our clients’ BAU campaigns to championing our clients’ and agency’s world-changing ideas.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Concept and Design development of digital and social assets for various clients, including but not limited to: social creative, digital display banners, landing pages, microsites, websites, etc. 
• Delivering brilliant concepts and ideas for digital and social deliverables for some of Saatchi & Saatchi’s biggest clients.
• Leading the design and production aspect of our agency’s motion graphics and animation projects, from large-scale campaigns to everyday activities
• A lead role in further digital projects, including UX/wireframing, prototyping and design development of websites.
• Presenting your work internally (and directly with clients) and articulating your design rationale where necessary, building a rapport with stakeholders at all levels.
• Art directing social media campaigns across our key clients.
• Supporting and providing mentorship to junior team members.

The person we’re looking for is:

• Highly skilled across the following Adobe CC applications; Photoshop (mandatory), InDesign (mandatory), Illustrator (highly desirable), After Effects (high desirable), Animate (highly desirable).
• Familiar with an agency environment – ideally with 5+yrs agency experience in a Digital Designer role 
• Passionate about creativity, design and digital media.
• A digital native with a deep understanding of designing and animating for social and digital channels
• Able to effectively manage their own time in order to successfully deliver against project timelines.
• Approachable, helpful and ready for further career development in this role.
• Ready to be a part of a new-look team to expertly deliver on every social and digital brief.
• Experience designing Salesforce eDMs highly desirable
