Job Description

As an Analytics Manager in our Analytic Consulting Group, you will manage key analytic initiatives from conception to completion, providing clients and key stakeholders actionable results and insights that help them achieve their business objectives. As a part of our highly collaborative Analytic Consulting Group, you will work on real-world marketing problems for one of the world’s best brands. You will help your client solve complex problems such as digital media performance measurement and optimization. You will analyze the effectiveness of 1st party data in driving improved results. You will help define segmentation strategies and curate highly targeted audiences based on a plethora of data available in their CDP and other cutting edge data and activation platforms. You will help drive global audience activation and scale opportunities which will change the way your client operates for years to come.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • You will be the lead contact with your client helping to analyze media and audience effectiveness across the digital marketing landscape. You will have access to a wealth of data in your clients CDP and other leading data platforms from which you will create new segmentation and measurement opportunities.
  • Your insights will drive global media budgets, audience modeling, and new ways of working and media planning with this global client.
  • Define media measurement strategy for Global Brand campaigns, creating alignment on KPI frameworks across all interested stakeholders
  • Partner with client’s marketing/media and analytic teams, understand their workstreams, and help interpret results and make optimization decisions across audience, placement, creative, etc.
  • Deliver measurement reports & updates to Global Brand & Media teams with optimization recommendations + areas for further investigation at the local level
  • Access data in CDP and Epsilon’s proprietary tools to aggregate, analyze, explore, and measure audience and media effectiveness
  • Track and organize media measurement benchmarks across measurement providers
  • Define measurement best practices, tool playbooks and ways-of-working for local implementation
  • Develop an understanding of Epsilon’s current analytic capabilities, marketing platforms, and proprietary datasets
  • Collaborate with junior resources to manage the delivery of audience measurement and insights.
  • Communicate and manage project execution (timeliness, quality, communication, creative solutioning, etc.) with your client and analytic leaders
  • Creating powerful presentations which effectively demonstrate the value of analytic deliverables and work processes
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline (Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Marketing Analytics, Engineering, Physics, Computer Science or related disciplines)
  • 5-7 years of hands on, relevant work experience in digital media analytics
  • A demonstrated history analyzing digital media
    • Experience measuring audience performance where those audiences were created from 1st party data and other combined data sources within CDP’s, DMP’s, and other 2nd and 3rd party networks.
    • Experience with programmatic, search, social, display, and familiarity with TV experiential, and out of home for their integration and impact on digital and media measurement
  • Experience with CPG measurement for digital media (IRI audiences, Nielsen, brand lift surveys, etc.)
  • Understanding of the value of 1PD and how it can be used as a seed for modeling and scaling in other digital media platforms
  • Understanding of statistics, testing, and data analysis
  • Experience optimizing spend and audience  targeting
  • Proficient in one of the following languages: SQL, Python
  • Natural curiosity for exploring data and finding the untold story
  • Desire to work in a highly collaborative environment
  • Ability to simplify complexity, communicate clearly and teach others
  • Manage multiple analytics projects or requests concurrently
  • Strong experience in list creation and segmentation, identifying and creating audience lists from a variety of data attributes/sources and sending those lists to other data repositories for activation.
  • Familiarity with marketing analytics, especially digital analytics and media analytics

ADDITIONAL USEFUL BUT NOT REQUIRED SKILLS

  • A master’s degree which required heavy use of statistics, data science, etc. is preferred but not required
  • Familiarity with Databricks
  • Experience with data visualization
  • 2-3 years of deep integration working within a CDP or similar environment to activate audiences and measure their organizational impact
