Rauxa is looking for a Director, Data Strategy for a freelance opportunity with estimated duration of 6 months.

 

The Director, Data Strategy will lead a team of advanced and audience analytics professionals within one of our largest clients. We are seeking a highly qualified analytics professional with professional experience optimizing traditional CRM mail and email channels. The Director will proactively identify opportunities and strategies, rooted in data that will propel client’s business forward with timely delivery of data, analytics and strategic support. The Director must be comfortable developing and guiding the vision to lead projects and analysts to greatness. This position leverages knowledge of statistical modeling techniques to provide suggestions or guidance to teams under their oversight. The position will collaborate closely with account leadership while building strong client relationships. The person in this role will drive innovation within optimization efforts across algorithms and reporting/insights as well as nurturing a strong team of analysts. The Director will translate the in-market results back to the client with insights, recommendations and next-step roadmap planning as the client’s trusted advisor. Additionally, the Director is tasked with identifying and providing recommendations to continuously refine current business practices and tools to create exceptional operations.
 

Deep experience in advanced analytics, audience data, CRM, and measurement is required.

Qualifications

  • You have a bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Finance, Engineering or equivalent work experience preferred
  • You have or more years of experience in quantitative marketing arena, in database and/or direct marketing
  • You have a CRM background and proven experience with CRM Data Analysis (Customer Segmentation, Churn, Lifetime Value, Acquisition, etc.)
  • You have proficiency with multiple analytics tools required; R strongly preferred; BusinessObjects, SQL
  • You have strong hands-on experience with BI or digital analytics tools such as Tableau, Adobe Audience Manager/ Analytics
  • You have developed custom performance reporting, algorithms, models and analyses across multiple channels/clients
  • You must have experience with statistical concepts and applying statistical techniques such as regression, ANOVA, ARIMA, cluster analysis, factor analysis, time series forecasting, experimental design, etc. to perform incremental lift studies and solve business problems
  • You have an understanding of digital data including the systems and processes used to generate and manipulate it by media type web, ad, email, mobile, etc.
  • You have developed and maintained strategic client partnerships across all digital marketing channels
  • You have directed and developed strategic solutions that drive results on client campaigns & objectives
  • You have the ability to clearly convey strategic vision in a manner that instills confidence in the client while garnering complete support from analysts
  • You have the ability to optimize workflow with a multitude of internal stakeholders to ensure complete satisfaction while ensuring client objectives are met
  • You have directed a team of that spans multiple clients and channels ensuring that objectives are being met
  • You have experience managing cross functional teams with a primary role supporting multiple teams of analysts
  • You have excellent written and oral presentation skills
  • You strong problem solving and consulting skills
  • You have a demonstrated ability to foster strong client relationship
  • You have a demonstrated proficiency in multiple digital marketing channels
  • You have a demonstrated proficiency in customer centric marketing
  • You have a track record of cultivating positive change management
  • You preferably have experience with digital marketing or web analytics (Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, etc.)
