Job Description

Everything we do strives to heighten the quality of Customer support interactions and increase Customer satisfaction globally. The Senior Visual/UI Designer will collaborate with a team of Sr. UX designers in the Client's support organization to add great visual design to their internal- and external-facing support solutions, tools and applications. As part of this valuable team, you will be involved in most areas of user experience, from research to interaction design and prototyping.

You will help identify and execute solutions that drive clients' internally-facing support business, including support channels, performance management and learning management systems.

In addition, you will work on our Client's externally-facing Customer experiences, including support interaction survey design and screen sharing experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish the look and feel for various user interfaces and platforms, including Web, Mac and iOS
  • Act as the primary visual designer, working on the UI/visual execution of team projects
  • Work within corporate brand guidelines and human interface guidelines
  • Contribute to new and extend existing design systems
  • Receive wireframes and create corresponding layout and visual specifications
  • Create high-fidelity OS and iOS application in addition to in-application (toolbars, etc.) iconography
  • Closely collaborate with business and technical teams
  • Create and organize production assets
  • Resize assets for different devices — tablet, mobile and web
  • Ensure visual assets are accessible

Qualifications

  • 5-7 or more years of experience as a Visual/UI Designer in a digital, direct marketing or advertising agency 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Design, User Experience or similar preferred
  • Portfolio showcasing your visual/UI design experience working on internal and external systems. It should demonstrate your strong foundation in typography, concepting, layout and design. UI samples should include personas, roadmaps, user flows, prototypes, icons/symbols and finished product. 
  • A penchant for details and organization, including the ability to prioritize tasks, communicate progress and meet deadlines
  • The ability to both lead to drive change and receive and incorporate design feedback
  • Work both collaboratively and autonomously
  • Experience with transitions, animation, motion design and dynamic interaction a plus
  • Adobe CC expertise, specifically Photoshop including intelligently organizing files for design iteration, and adhering to graphic design standards
  • Strong prototyping skills with familiarity of 1-2 tools, including Sketch 
  • You have excellent communication and presentation skills.
