Job Description

We are looking to hire a skilled WordPress Developer to maintain, extend and enhance a recently developed multi-site setup levering a StudioPress Wordpress Theme.

This individual will be responsible for both back-end and front-end development including the customization of StudioPress WordPress theme, plugins and security updates.

 

WordPress Developer Responsibilities:

-          Meeting with team/clients to discuss website design and function.

-          Extending on the current designing and building the website front-end.

-          Evolving on the website architecture.

-          Designing and managing the website back-end including database and server integration.

-          Customizing and extending WordPress themes and plugins.

-          Conducting website performance tests.

-          Troubleshooting content issues.

-          Conducting WordPress training with the client.

-          Monitoring the performance of the live website.

 

Qualifications

WordPress Developer Requirements:

-          Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a similar field.

-          Proven work experience as a WordPress Developer.

-          Knowledge of front-end technologies including SASS, CSS3, JavaScript, HTML5, and jQuery.

-          Knowledge of processing tools like Gulp, Node, WP Gulp Toolkit, etc.

-          Good understanding of website architecture and aesthetics.

-          Extensive knowledge of Wordpress theming, customizations and multi-site setup, latest front-end technologies and be comfortable with PHP.

-          In-depth knowledge of front-end programming languages, a good eye for aesthetics, and strong content management skills.
