We are seeking a brilliant healthcare communicator to oversee strategy and delivery across a portfolio of global clinical trial projects and enterprise initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a passion for educating and engaging patients and HCPs paired with deep experience leading innovative and impactful multichannel advertising and media campaigns. As a senior member of our growing account team, you will be responsible for directing and developing a junior team, as well as setting and achieving financial targets within your assigned clients and projects.

Job Description

What you’re here to do

  • Oversee and lead strategic, conceptual and creative development for projects
  • Ensure our account services standards are met across each project, from start to finish
  • Be a key strategic partner for our clients and build strong, lasting relationships at the senior level
  • Maintain Langland’s high creative standards and always push for the best possible output
  • Take responsibility for organic growth and profitability for assigned clients and projects
  • Mentor and grow an account team, both on projects and as direct reports
  • Ensure that internal system and processes are adhered to at all times
  • Work cross-functionally with a multi-disciplinary team, including strategy, creative and media experts
  • Partner with the new business team to ensure proposals are aligned with the client’s strategic goals

Qualifications

Job requirements:

  • 6+ years healthcare advertising agency experience or clinical trial recruitment experience
  • Strategic background in patient-targeted communications
  • Exceptional written communication and presentation skills
  • Experience and strong interest in creative production
  • Experience in traditional and digital media development
  • Science degree a plus
  • Clinical trial experience a plus

Candidate should possess:

  • A passion for effective patient engagement through creativity
  • An expert understanding of how to run a successful creative and tactical agency project, with an appreciation for project management discipline
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong leadership and mentorship abilities
