Job Description

The Mobile Quality Analyst is responsible for QA and testing for mobile applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Automate scripts from previous sprint as well as conduct manual testing for existing sprint
  • Write test scripts and well-rounded test cases that cover both Front End and Back End
  • Responsible for detailed bug reports and steps to reproduce
  • Functional testing, content verification, regression testing
  • Utilize user stories/requirements analysis to identify gaps
  • Write technical documentation

Qualifications

  • Strong communication skills and demonstrated client-facing skills
  • Understanding of Software testing life cycle, Defect Lifecycle and Requirements Traceability Matrix
  • Mobile Apps testing Experience (Minimum: 3 months)
  • Ability to work in an Agile/Scrum environment
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel and Jira
  • Autonomous worker with the ability to work with minimal oversight
  • Analytical and able to write thorough test cases (goes beyond what’s in spec)
  • Good with working with varying account data and testing combinations of these
  • Flexible to work with Business Analyst & development team during implementation phase
  • Flexible to travel within Canada on as needed basis
