Job Description

At Langland, our Production team ensure that the agency’s creative product is executed to the highest possible standard and that delivery deadlines are met. As Senior Production Artist, you will work proactively alongside the cross-functional team to deliver optimal results at all times and provide guidance and support to the other Production Artists with the department Lead. Your key remit is to produce error free artwork for a wide variety of communications materials, both in English and in local languages, and provide build guidance to creative teams. Langland specializes in global clinical trial recruitment, so the right candidate will be comfortable working with translated content – we produce in over 80 languages!

What you’re here to do

  • Work alongside Art Directors and Designers to support layout development of Master English work
  • Artwork Master English work to ensure perfect set up for translations
  • Develop translated layouts across multiple studies
  • Create and modify PPT / interactive PDFs
  • Create digital files for production, e.g., banners, emails
  • Prepare and monitor brand guidelines, master logos, etc., for consistent use throughout the agency
  • Implement copy changes and revisions, ensuring that mark ups replicate the printing run outs
  • Sign off artwork once completed and support adherence to the sign off process
  • Keep job bags up to date with the latest files and ensure file naming standards are followed
  • Produce hi res PDFs for final repro
  • Support production artist team with guidance and mentorship

Qualifications

Job requirements:

  • 4+ years production artist experience building production-ready design files
  • Great knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
  • An intermediate knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint
  • A basic knowledge of Microsoft Word & Microsoft Excel

Candidate should possess:

  • An appreciation of design and layout, and strong understanding of managing brand guidelines
  • A working knowledge of print and repro, including a thorough understanding of the production process from concept to final item
  • A commitment to creative excellence
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • The ability to push back on requests to ensure production excellence, while maintaining strong working relationships with the wider team
  • The ability to work well in a fast-paced environment with hard deadlines on multiple projects
  • Digital experience is not required, but would be expected to be built upon with the support of senior team
