The Client

Dixons Carphone

Dixons: £45-60m annual expenditure: it is a fundamental pillar of the Spark Foundry business.

The account presents a fantastic opportunity to test & learn on a variety of different channels as Dixons runs communications across the entire media mix.  In addition, Dixons is the biggest digital spender in the agency and is leading the way on digital planning and the use of programmatic.  

This is an exciting time for the business as we look towards a new year; the client is keen to activate multiple new initiatives with a focus on innovation so we need someone who is strategic and keen to bring ideas to life. The account requires someone enthusiastic, detail orientated and willing to hit the ground running. We have a brilliant relationship with our creative agency so you will be working closely with them on a daily basis to deliver exceptional work for our client. In addition to this, we have an amazing, friendly team who support one another inside and outside of work. 

Core challenges for the team – guiding clients through all of this whilst keeping a strong handle on all of the day to day business of a busy and successful retailer.

Once the successful candidate is settled, there are also opportunities to work and contribute to new business as/when appropriate.

Qualifications

This role will see you cut your teeth on a super busy account and therefore we need someone enthusiastic with great time management. We are looking for someone with a great self-starter attitude who wants to understand and learn how the media planned drives actual sales results in the short, medium and long term. We also want someone inquisitive as to how media can help build brands over time.

The ideal candidate will be analytical and comfortable with numbers, whilst also possessing strong communication skills and confidence delivering ideas in a way that convinces.

You will work within a fully integrated team, acting as the pivotal point of contact to connect your clients with the array of specialist expertise that we have in our business.

You must be organized, on the ball, proactive and ready to adapt to whatever your clients throw at you. You will have a passion for seeing the impact media has on business outcomes and have a genuine entrepreneurial spirit.
