Content Producer

  • Full-time

Company Description

We are a creative solutions company.

We believe that creativity is the most powerful asset in business today. In an increasingly commoditised world, creativity is the greatest competitive advantage for our clients and their brands. Our ability to create fresh, original, disruptive, transformative ideas comes from a deep understanding of human behaviour. It’s what we bring to every business problem. We call it HumanKind™ thinking. It’s not about customers or consumers; we start with people and their behaviour. And we use all our intelligence, design thinking, digital innovation and customer experience capabilities to shape that thinking into behaviour and business-changing solutions.

We never stand still.

We abide by the belief that “constructive dissatisfaction” is the essence of progress. And the key to building better solutions. It’s in our DNA.  Leo Burnett was famous for saying "Let's continue to be known as an agency which spends more time trying to improve its theories rather than defend them."

We started life as an advertising agency, but we’ve completely transformed our business. We embrace technology as a critical enabler of creativity, and we’re continuously innovating to build new services and capabilities that help us deliver amazing solutions for our clients.

Job Description

The Content Producer will form part of our unique and specialized Connect Content team.  Connect Content is a multi-disciplinary team encompassing experts from digital, social, and content disciplines. This team works closely with Account Management, Strategy and Creative to input into our social and content recommendations for our clients’ brands. And includes, writers, art directors, designers, editors, shooters, motion-graphics specialists, and other technical specialists.

The purpose of Connect Content within this model, and within LB more broadly, is to provide a specialist Digital, Social and Content unit that thinks holistically about the full digital ecosystem and produces high quality agile content to be deployed across paid, owned and earned digital & social channels. We like to think of this team as being a “culturally driven content collective, that are nimble by nature”.

They’re tapped into what’s trending right now with consumers, what’s driving conversation, what people are interacting with, and via what new technologies (particularly within the social arena).  They then produce tailored content that will become part of the cultural narrative.

Within the team there are both Content Planning and Content Creation capabilities, working collaboratively to plan, concept, create and foster a conversation.

The Content Producer role plays part a critical role in the Content Creation team. Each person within the team should be hybrid by nature bringing a core skillset but with the ability to stretch and get involved in all aspects.

This is a perfect opportunity for someone who has strong production capabilities and ideally with experience working in the social/content space.

General Responsibilities:

  • Production – management of all aspects of pre and postproduction, from sourcing and booking locations, talent, and shoot schedules, to managing all finance related matters
  • Workflow – a key operational function of the role is having oversight on what projects are coming in and out of the team, ensuring that we are resourced in a sufficient manner and liaising with the Head of Production and Workflow on the required mix of talent. You will play a lead role in managing the agreed content budgets for projects and work produced.
  • Ideation and creation – given the ‘collective’ nature of this team, it is important that every team member ideates and contributes to the creation of all content development. And a passion for social media will be a real asset.
  • This is role has some client facing aspects, so we will be looking for excellent client servicing experience and relationship building capability.

Qualifications

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has 3+ years’ experience as a production manager or coordinator in TV, film, digital, video, or social
  • Thrives in a fast-paced role
  • Has a desire to be involved with great work
  • Has a ‘can-do’ attitude / is solutions-focused
  • Accepts change as a given
  • Has excellent attention to detail
  • Brings a generous spirit to collaboration
  • Respects differences and diversity
