Job Description

  • Strong understanding of brand communications
  • Demonstrated success in managing highly visible corporate PR strategies
  • Experience successfully leading communications and/or PR strategy in both B2B and B2C businesses
  • Media relations skills that have successfully influenced media coverage for a successful brand
  • Exceptional writing, presentation, and oral communication skills
  • Strong executive presence
  • Powerful interpersonal skills; experience in a relationship-based position that requires engaging with many stakeholders and requires effective communication skills to influence outcomes
  • Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, high growth environment

Qualifications

  • Min. of 7 to 9 years working in Public Relations or related industry, possess a degree in Public Relations/ Journalism/ Law/ International Relations/ Information Technology/ Communications/ English
  • Be proactive in monitoring competitor businesses and suggest strategic responses to their initiatives
  • Extensive experience of PR within a specific sector or industry relevant to the post
  • A strong industry network and contacts with senior journalists and members of the press
  • Proven track record of successfully implemented PR campaigns for a range of clients
  • Polished presenter and adept at explaining PR terms and outcomes to senior players
  • Commercial acumen and experience of developing new business
  • Management experience of developing star performers and overseeing performance
  • Driven, ambitious and willing to contribute to the business
  • Be technology/ web savvy
