Job Description

The Assistant Account Executive is a Leo Burnett Detroit-based team role focused on providing account project support for our Customer Care & Aftersales clients. Core areas of responsibility include work across the Genuine Parts brands on Programs and Retail Promotions via Digital and Print projects communicating to both B2B & B2C targets. The Assistant Account Executive must be collaborative and work well both with clients and internal teams.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

·       Serve as day-to-day client contact

·       Actively participate in client and internal status meetings

·       Coordinate with outside media and production vendors

·       Work alongside Retail SAE and strategy team to draft creative briefs across a variety of media

·       Manage projects internally and externally from brief to execution with support of the Retail SAE

·       Act as a brand steward 

·       Assist in brand stewardship and meeting preparation

Qualifications

·       Advertising internship to 1+ years agency experience is preferred

·       Automotive aftermarket, auto parts, auto service, auto accessory, or tire marketing knowledge is preferred but not required

·       Exhibits a level of professionalism

·       Motivated to learn in a fast-paced industry

·       Demonstrates initiative and proactivity; must be able to problem solve independently

·       Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office)

·       Excellent communication and presentation skills, including ability to build impactful PowerPoint presentations

·       Teamwork, ability to function at high-level with various personalities

·       Comfortable leading and engaging in daily client communications

·       Strong attention to detail and organization

·       Appreciative of creative product
