Job Description

The Performance Strategy team is looking for a Strategist with strong business intuition, a collaborative spirit, and a knack for making data more user-friendly for our team and clients. He/she will be working on data-driven marketing campaigns in an effort to: identify and resolve cross-channel gaps, ensure proper campaign execution, and actively manage outcomes to ensure we’re meeting performance expectations. The ideal candidate will have first-hand experience with acquisition-oriented marketing and/or advertising. He/she will use current data, historical data, business objectives/goals (across products and lines of business) and overall user experience to make informed recommendations that will have a large impact on performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as performance marketing strategist and advises internal teams and stakeholders to drive client success based on key performance indicators and business drivers
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to understand business line challenges and translate those into insights and performance driving marketing programs
  • Support acquisition efforts through offline and online channels including Paid Channels (Search, Display, Social) and Owned Channels
  • Develop integrated performance digital strategies by always maintaining a multi-channel customer centric approach; in parallel, links all initiatives to business results and understands how to measure success accordingly
  • Work in collaboration with media (display and search) and creative heads to ensure strategic performance marketing thinking translates into creative excellence
  • Liaise with the marketing sciences and data analytics teams around performance and insights of performance marketing efforts
  • Proactively identify conversion breakdowns on client’s sites by analyzing clickstream data and purchase funnel metrics; develop and test new methodologies, technologies, or approaches to find potential conversion improvement opportunities
  • Lead conversion rate optimization programs, including identifying, evaluating and prioritizing optimizations, for increasing conversion rates and revenue generated from site content, e-mail marketing, digital marketing, SEO/SEM and promotions
  • Communicate results and insights up to senior management and director level, transferring learnings cross-functionally and how to integrate into future experiments

Qualifications

  • 4-7 years of relevant experience with digital channels and performance marketing, as a guide
  • Bachelor’s Degree - preferably in Business Administration, Interactive Marketing, Strategic Marketing, Product Development, Information Management
  • Passionate about insight, driven by analytics, with an obsession for getting under the skin of a business (the numbers) and understanding how it works and makes money
  • Experience with marketing technology vendors such as Google and Adobe
  • Experience in performance marketing campaign development and optimization, including but not limited to: digital design/user experience, display marketing campaigns, search (SEO and SEM), social media, mobile applications, content management, and digital analytics
  • Experience with audience targeting, dynamic creative optimization (DCO), conversion rate optimization, AB testing
  • Strong team player
  • Desire to elevate and apply their own work experience beyond a singular media channel or function
  • Advanced PPT and Excel skills required (additional experience in SAS, R, SPSS is a plus)
  • Dynamic, driven, hands-on style
  • Highly effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent presentation, influencing and negotiation skills; can take complex concepts and simplify for various client and internal audiences 
  • Tact, diplomacy, maturity in relating and interacting with people at all levels
