Job Description

You will play a crucial role in supporting the team across a busy client account.

The main purpose of this role is to;

  • You’re responsible for the data and administration for your brands and will support your line managers with the analysis, drawing insights and conclusions for the purpose of improved brand communication plans.
  • You keep up to date in being able to use the latest systems and tools available, to perform the above.
  • You carry out regular and ad hoc tasks specific to your discipline and brands, as directed by your line manager and team (i.e. competitor analysis, audience insights).
  • You prioritise training sessions, and on the job learning and support from your line manager as they develop your knowledge and core skills – so in time – you can take on more responsibility. 
  • You learn how the agency functions, where to go for what, who is responsible for what. You learn how to operate in the business world and how to work in media.
  • You make it your business to know everything about your client’s market as well as your own.  You avidly read trade press articles to soak up as much knowledge past and present as possible for use now and in the future and share to the wider team where appropriate.
  • You participate in internal and external meetings regarding current projects, future possibilities – briefs and brainstorms.
  • You are pro-active.  You take an active role in helping your team to get their work done better and quicker bringing your energy, enthusiasm and ideas.
  • Your clients and your team respect you. They seek out your point of view, they want to include you in their thinking and you are seen by all to add value.
  • Absolute attention to detail

Qualifications

  • You think and behave proactively with regards to competitive reporting, above and beyond routine requirements.
  • You take ownership of you own calendar, especially managing across brands and internal and external meetings.
  • You read the trade press and advise the loop team of any upcoming competitor advertising activity or relevant market trends.
  • You build relationships with relevant clients beyond email communication, picking up the phone and contributing in meetings when appropriate.
  • You ensure all work you present to the client is accurate and of a professional standard.
  • You build a strong rapport with our wider loop team and are the main POC for Starcom
  • You’re responsible for ensuring data is accurate for your brands, and supporting your line manager to draw out and share relevant insights from that data.
  • You know your brands media plans inside out, and can confidently navigate the media plan system (Mediatools), pull off information and support your line manager in media plan management and changes.
