Job Description

The Assistant, HR Operations position is responsible for performing administrative work within the HR Operations team including answering questions and concerns about HR Systems, identifying common issues and raising to the team for resolution, and maintaining and updating process documentation. This position will be working with multiple teams and will need to communicate effectively with people of all job levels and personalities. The ideal applicants will be eager to help on a variety of projects and be continually looking to grow their skills.

Job Responsibilities

  • Monitor HRIS Help Desk email, responding to questions and concerns in a timely manner
  • Assist with processing corrections within our HRIS (SuccessFactors)
  • Effectively communicate how our various HR Systems interact and build relationships with the owners of each
  • Identify issues or concerns around HR Systems and assist the team in resolving
  • Track patterns in questions and develop communication to educate HR Systems users
  • Handle confidential and sensitive employee data seriously and respectfully
  • Ensure compliance with rule and regulations, including the organization’s Data Privacy and Protection Guidelines
  • Assist in rollout and implementation of HR programs and systems
  • Assist in ad-hoc projects and other functions as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and 1 year of work experience; or any combination of education, training or experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with HR systems; HRIS/SuccessFactors experience is a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products
  • Strong prioritization and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and project simultaneously
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain strict confidentiality
  • Positive attitude and a desire for professional growth
  • Strong team player who is outgoing and personable with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
