Job Description

Welcome to Langland. A health communications agency that helps people, brands and businesses think further.

At Langland, our Designers develop outstanding designs that bring ideas to life. This role will involve regularly developing original brand identities for clinical trial outreach campaigns in close partnership with the Art Director, developing a cohesive suite of digital and print materials to support patients and doctors. This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of a small team with a strong creative focus, originating unique brands to drive engagement and education. Healthcare experience is not required!

What you’re here to do

  • Work with the Art Director to develop design concepts to execute creative ideas
  • Devise brand guidelines for multiple clinical trial campaigns
  • Prepare design layouts for digital and print
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure that work is produced on time and that all delivery deadlines are met
  • Work with Production department to consider final execution of mechanicals
  • Sign off work, taking responsibility for the visual identity, accuracy of the execution and compliance with the brand guidelines
  • Ensure that internal system & processes are adhered to at all times
  • Keep all internal stakeholders are informed of the progress of the projects
  • Demonstrate a good understanding of the client’s needs to purpose creative solutions

Job requirements:

  • 3+ year’s experience in a creative design role, including concept work
  • Formal design training solid typography, graphic and interaction design skills
  • Advanced knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
  • Strong understanding of design for digital (Sketch)
  • Good knowledge of print, repro and digital execution
  • Bachelor’s degree in design or commensurate experience

Candidate should possess:

  • Exceptional design ability
  • A desire to connect with people through immaculate visual execution
  • A strong understanding of how to turn ideas into workable designs
  • Ability to clearly communicate ideas to the internal team
  • Ability to self-manage projects and to work within deadlines
