PlatformGSK is a bespoke Publicis Media agency proposition for GSK, it is a data and technology driven communications proposition that is centred around our client’s growth.

To date the majority of platformGSK has focused on the Consumer Healthcare side outside the US. For 2021 we have expanded our remit into the Pharma side of the business.  This role falls within this new arm of the Pharma team.

Initially this new Pharma team will consist one one team supporting ViiV* (therapies for HIV) and another team supporting Vaccines. In the bigger picture we will be building out a future-facing Pharma model that will expand to additional areas of the Pharma business.

Job Description

The Role:

As a Senior Account Executive within this team in our platformGSK department, you will be sitting within the Pharma branch of the hub. You will be working on the ViiV Healthcare company, which specialises in the development for therapies  for HIV Infection.

You will be a core member of the ViiV Team, which is extremely collaborative and supportive. Within this role, you will be the key support pillar to the Account Director and Strategy Director, working across a variety of strategy, planning and account management workstreams. You will have significant client communication responsibility and will be able to grow in the role to have more independence on some of your deliverables.

Because this is a new team, it would suit someone who embraces building new models and ways of working, and is a good opportunity to demonstrate the value media can add to a business and elevate the role of media for Pharma moving forward.



Your role will include evaluating and pulling apart media plans, project management in terms of ensuring all actions from meetings are delivered, sharing insights or results with other teams, reporting and coordination. You will be reporting directly into an Account Director, so you will have a lot of support, and also autonomy to take on tasks.

You will also be planning for centrally activated campaigns, most of these campaigns will run across digital channels, so you will also be tracking, optimising and reporting on the performance.

Because of the nature of the client and their offering most of these campaigns will run across digital channels.


You will have a strong grounding in media fundamentals and are focussed on accelerating your learning in media planning, client servicing and media strategy.

You will have strong communication skills, and good presentation experience. You will enjoy working with data and be able to identify insights.

You will have had experience in a local or global planning role in a media agency setting. You will be proactive in terms of making sure you have things to do, whilst also thinking of new opportunities and ways of working.
