The Leo Burnett Internship Program, recognized by Business Insider as one of the top 20 programs in the country, is designed to give bright, curious individuals the best, most realistic internship experience in the advertising industry. Our interns are embraced as contributing employees of the agency and are expected to deliver on the big campaignable Humankind ideas that the agency is known for worldwide. Participants work alongside the top talent in the industry.

This paid 10-week program runs June 14 - August 20 and is available to incoming college seniors and recent graduates.  Applications will be accepted online through March 30, 2021 and we will notify selected candidates in late April/May.

Program highlights include:

• Lunch & Learns - Gain an understanding of the creative process and the role of each agency discipline.

• Intern Pitch Project – Experience the full life cycle of an agency pitch, and get hands-on skills in collaboration, problem solving, presentation skills, and work process (exact details to be confirmed).

• Cultural Gatherings - Join fellow interns and agency staff to enjoy the best Chicago has to offer (pending the status of the pandemic).

Business Leadership Internship

The Leo Burnett Business Leadership internship is designed to give bright, curious individuals real world/real time experience in a creatively charged business.  You will be hired as an Assistant Account Executive and will learn the intricacies of the advertising process, how to facilitate the agency/client relationship and how to spot a good idea.  This position demands creative intuition, leadership, a keen business acumen and a roll-up-your-sleeves persistence. It’s our expectation that interns approach each assignment with curiosity, open-mindedness and forward-thinking. They must also be a proactive resource that your team can depend on while exhibiting maturity and presence to comfortably interact with members of the team and clients.

Qualifications

WHO CAN APPLY FOR THE INTERNSHIP: Rising seniors and recent graduates.
