Job Description

Overview:

The Product Manager will own Performics’ Product relationships with Display and Social vendors and platforms.

Responsibilities include product evaluation and selection for both existing and new clients, cross-platform process and best practice identification, product roadmap development, product issue escalation, and overall product partner relationship management.

 

Role Objectives:

•         Foster and maintain relationships with search practitioners to understand their needs and hold technology product partners accountable for supporting those efforts

•         Understand and lead thought leadership in the evolving data measurement and technology stack infrastructure for paid media, designing solutions for how Display and Social media integrate with marketing data across channels.

•         Manage the Display and Social technology evaluation process for new and existing clients, vetting partner technologies in the marketplace for the most appropriate function and integration capabilities

•         Manage product and feature releases for Performics’ Display and Social partners through product development lifecycles, and share those trends internally

•         Effectively manage and communicate technology partner roadmaps and progress against roadmaps to key stakeholders

•         Coordinate both internal and external resource assignments (as needed) to ensure progress-to-plan on roadmaps; plan for contingency and communicate any deviations from plan to key stakeholders and management

•         Develop skills as an expert in specific areas

•         Proven understanding of total landscape of a large advertiser and how small tasks affect the big picture

Reverse mentoring with another colleague of a different channel expertise

Qualifications

•         Bachelor’s degree with preferred concentration in computer science, engineering or technology related discipline

•         Experience working with media management technologies such as SEM platforms, DCO platforms, DMPs, UTMs, DSPs, and/or mobile ad servers

•         First-hand experience with the leading industry paid search management technologies

•         Prior experience in product management and project management for a technology company, agency or consulting firm. Specific experience in designing and bringing new products to market

•         Demonstrated success at indirect management in matrix organizations

•         Flexible and capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast paced/high volume environment

•         Ability to interact, develop strong client relationships and up to C-level internal execs

•         Demonstrated prior experience in managing teams through design, development, and/or operations of complex technology environments (programs, applications, systems and/or infrastructure)

•          4+ years of relevant consulting or industry experience

•         At least 3 years of experience managing technology engagements
