Job Description

The Solution Architect provides innovative solutions and thought leadership to clients and prospects’ marketing challenges in the areas of multi-channel CRM and loyalty marketing. As part of an engagement team, you will be responsible for aligning client goals and strategies to the appropriate technology and service components both within Epsilon and the wider Publicis Groupe. You will work with groups of other subject matter experts from across Epsilon (technology, digital, data) and Publicis Groupe to determine the best solution offerings for our clients and to present our capabilities as part of consultative engagements and sales pitches.

The Solution Architect must have a proven track record in conceptualising, designing and participating in complex implementations of marketing technology projects. Individuals must have experience of enterprise technologies including integration technologies, data management, analytics and single sign-on, as well as a solid understanding of modern software development practices, particularly cloud deployment experience. Individuals should have strong communication (written and oral) skills and able to collaborate with clients and internal teams.

As a Solution Architect, you must be passionate about codifying and sharing best practices, standards and points of view on driving business outcomes through intelligent use of Epsilon’s offerings. We are looking for individuals that enjoy mentoring and teaching others within Epsilon, as well as personal drive to keep up with latest trends in our domain.

  • Lead requirements gathering meetings to translate business requirements into technical specifications
  • Act as the trusted technical advisor to clients in consultative engagements on the design and implementation of marketing technology solutions
  • Successfully demonstrate Epsilon’s solution capabilities to prospective clients within the context of their business and marketing environment
  • Mentor and support the technical delivery teams on the onboarding and testing of new client implementations, ensuring they are delivered in accordance with client’s solution requirements
  • Provide coaching and assistance to the support teams in troubleshooting complex client-specific implementations and operations
  • Effectively collaborate with business development and client development teams in the pursuit of new business opportunities
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in proposing and presenting Epsilon’s People Cloud offerings
  •  Build a comprehensive understanding of People Cloud and go to market proposition, and act as an evangelist with key prospects and targets
  •  Document and actively maintain client’s setups and continuously update the client’s technology adoption roadmap
  • Continuously develop and maintain your knowledge of Epsilon’s People Cloud offerings and the wider Publicis Groupe services
  • Share knowledge, experience and best practices with other team members

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 8 years’ experience in designing and implementing complex enterprise marketing and digital solutions
  • Demonstrates excellent problem solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Strong solution architecture experience
  • Significant experience in system integrations with marketing technology platforms (CRM, loyalty, eCommerce, customer data platforms, multi-channel engagement platforms)
  • Working knowledge of identity management and security standards such as OpenID, OAuth, SAML, PGP, TLS, and other encryption technologies
  • Proficient in designing and documenting technology solutions
  • Experienced in solution prototyping
  • Experienced in working with Agile methodologies in a distributed environment with remote teams in different time zones
  • Highly collaborative and involves others in decision making, building productive relationships
  • Familiarity with collaboration tools such as Microsoft VSTS and Atlassian suite
  • Strong organisational, process and project management skills
  • Other European languages would be beneficial with preference for French or German
  • Previous consulting background is highly desirable
  • Experience in omni-channel marketing is highly desirable
  • Experience with procurement processes is a plus
