Job Description

The Role

As a performance Planning Manager on the NatWest account, you will be joining a team of 10 other performance experts as well as an insights director. You will be working on the Mortgages vertical of NatWest’s product offering, the biggest sector in terms of revenue to the client, which means you get a decent sized budget to work with.

You will be a part of the strategic planning response to media briefs with a focus on the performance channels (PPC, aggregators, affiliates, programmatic display, SEO and social DR). Your role will include managing relationships with the client and media owners, working on innovative performance media campaigns and implementing new test & learn initiatives – leading this process and driving change.

 

The Client

NatWest is Zeniths biggest account, and Zeniths most awarded account. There are over 20 planners working across all products, brands and media channels dedicated to this account.

There are a number of brands that sit under the NatWest Group portfolio supporting both business and personal banking.

With a relatively new CEO at the helm, NWG has taken the opportunity to refresh their brand purpose, which is to champion the potential of people, families and businesses. NatWest have been running MoneySense, an impartial education program for 5-18 year olds for many years.

 

Responsibilities

As mentioned above, the heart of this role will be planning performance media campaigns across the performance channels and monitoring the activity, gaining statistics and interpreting the information. You will be working with partners and suppliers internally and externally to explore new and different opportunities, as well as managing these relationships. You will be client facing, and be a regular presenter of key campaign findings. NatWest like innovation, therefore test & learn is important to them – you will help drive these methods with ground breaking ideas.

Qualifications

  • Strong experience in an all round planning role, or one with a digital focus.
  • An interest in technology and data, and how you can use this to benefit the client and future work
  • Experience with adservers
  • High attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
