Job Description

MEDIA  PLANNING 

Position Overview  

Have you ever wondered how a completed campaign gets in front of it's intended audience? 

The Media planning internship offers you the opportunity to work hands-on in one of our fastest growing businesses! In this internship you will be trained to assist with cross-channel media planning and buying and financial maintenance. We will provide a number of trainings/101s in addition to hands on work experience in order to introduce you to the role and responsibilities of media buying and planning. You will learn and apply basic media principles, and will be responsible for status reporting, traffic sheets, financials, research (i.e. marketplace, competitive, audience, etc.), planning/buying assistance and relationship building internally and with outside partners. You’ll gain a whole new world of understanding (and appreciation) for Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint capabilities. You will work collaboratively with the media team, while also owning specific tasks as an Associate Media Planner would.  

PLEASE NOTE: we will have many media opportunities available! 

Qualifications

Intern Requirements 

  • Full-time rising junior or rising senior, currently enrolled at an accredited 4-year College or University  

  • Enrolled in an undergraduate degree program which aligns with the position such as Advertising, Marketing, Communications or Business  

  • Legally authorized to work in the US
