JOB TITLE - SENIOR DRUPAL DEVELOPER

Role Details:

• Support solution design with internal staff members using experience with Drupal and it’s module.
• Work with others to refactor and implement complex functionality using PHP by creating custom Drupal modules
• Lead migrations from Drupal 8 to Drupal 9 for enterprise-scale Drupal web apps
• Understanding of Service-Oriented Architecture, XML, SOAP, REST, JSON, and other Web Services technologies.
• Work experience with more than one relational database management system, including MySQL.
• Provide technical development and analysis across all project types. Specifically focuses on enterprise-level projects.  
• Test assigned features to ensure proper functionality, prior to committing to live staging build.  
• Mentor team members on development best practices and participate in code reviews.
• Assist with defining and developing automated build, test and deployment systems  
• Analyze and resolve technical and application issues through debugging, testing and product verification  
• Support the team in establishing best practices, design patterns, and coding standards  
• Support business development by reviewing and improving proposal response to Drupal requirements.

Skillsets Required:

• Drupal 8/9 custom module development.
• Experience integrating and customizing Drupal core and contrib APIs, hooks, and events
• PHP, HTML, XML, CSS, Javascript, SOAP/REST web services.
• Expertise in modern database development (MySQL/MariaDB)
• Experience working with a DevOps Team
• JavaScript/AJAX
• Experience implementing/integrating with single sign on (SSO) like SimpleSAML
• Experience with search integration(SOLR Search API)
• Knowledge of usability/accessibility standards of user interface development in order to produce code compliant for Section 508 accessibility; may work with development tools that aid in this process
