Job Scope

We are seeking a Consultant with excellent communication skills and integrated experience to be part of a dynamic team in one of the fastest-growing PR agencies in the Asia region. Based in Singapore, you will collaborate with experts from other disciplines such as creative, digital, data analytics, and media to provide communications solutions that create influence and deliver business impact across diverse client projects.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic counsel to clients and account team members.
  • Maintain senior level client contact on a regular basis and ensure full understanding of client business, internal and external influencing factors, budgeting constraints and PR needs.
  • Build and/or maintain client relationships at the highest standard of professionalism.
  • Must be pro-actively involved in current client activities; able to identify opportunities to organically grow business with current accounts; and able to identify potential risks and take appropriate action to retain or renew business.
  • Manage multiple day-to-day tasks with strict adherence to deadlines and expectations.
  • Help clients demonstrate the value of PR within their own organizations.
  • Handle issues and crisis management on behalf of clients.
  • Cultivate and/or build new relationships with clients, media and other stakeholders in order to grow new business efforts.
  • Develop results-oriented strategic plans and lead ideation efforts to expand programs, resulting in maximum client satisfaction as well as in increasing agency revenues.
  • Prepare and manage client campaign budgets to keep costs within client's budget within agreed deliverables while ensuring that target agency revenues are met and that non-billable expenses are kept minimal.
  • Hold regular internal and external client review meetings to evaluate progress on each account, identify most successful activities, identify problems and review overall objectives and strategy.
  • Learn and apply tools, templates and methodologies that positively influence communication effectiveness as well as project outcomes.
  • Mentor junior team members in the areas of strategic planning, editorial content development, ideation of content and media relations.
  • Maintain rigorous quality control over work produced by junior staff.
  • Maintain consistent work flow from team member to team member through effective staff allocation on accounts and attention to work flow changes.
  • Nurture morale and teamwork within the group of accounts you supervise and provide all staff with growth opportunities within the agency.
  • Actively seek out new business prospects, taking the lead on developing, managing the pitch process, that wins new business.
  • Foster relationships with sister Publicis Groupe organizations for cross-selling and networking purposes; convert one collaborative opportunity with a Groupe company each year.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 7 years’ experience in communications research, executive communications, corporate and/or integrated communications.
  • A strong writer with excellent research, writing, editing, presentation and client interaction skills.
  • Proven experience in producing first-rate communications and editorial content for multi-platform media, including traditional mainstream and digital.
  • Excellent organizational skills, able to manage multiple projects with minimum or no supervision, while understanding how and when to delegate.
  • Strong client relations, strategic thinking and new business development skills; able to think outside the box.
  • Can work independently and able to work under pressure.
  • Experience in local/regional integrated planning and execution, as well as experience in B2B/B2C Tech/IT, Energy/Sustainability, Finance, or FMCG a big plus.
  • Proven strong leadership and mentoring skills to support professional growth and career development opportunities for junior team members.
  • Solid understanding and disciplined practice of financial management techniques.
