    Job Description

    The Publicis Emil team in Melbourne are looking for an Account Executive with a passion for automotive and digital innovation! 

     The role requires the ability to coordinate a large number of projects and to keep the rest of the agency team advised of the progress being made. This is a vital role within an account service team as much of the support provided by the Account Executive determines our ability to continue to deliver above and beyond for our clients. We’re looking for someone with experience or interest in CRM in particular for this position.  

    Key Responsibilities: 

    1.Provides general support (project and administration) to account service team in the execution of all marketing campaigns, which will include:

    • Coordinating digital campaign activity, with a focus on email, from initial client brief through to completion.  
    • Developing and owning task briefs across various clients and agency teams
    • Assist with creative briefs in collaboration with Account Director and wider team that leverage insights and contain inspiring propositions.
    • Proactively manage the relationship between the agency, clients and any external suppliers
    • Administration tasks including updating finance trackers and process billings and/or reconciliations as necessary, update WIP documents and maintain contact reports. 

    2. Develops knowledge of agency structure and functions, utilising resources appropriately and efficiently to ensure that agency systems and procedures are followed including:

    • opening and closing of jobs
    • preparing studio briefs
    • material instructions
    • preparing estimates
    • purchase orders
    • timesheets 
    • proof reading 

    3. Develops deeper understanding of our client’s business: 

    • Conducting competitor reviews as required
    • Maintaining marketing analysis of brand and category

    Qualifications

    • Preferably some advertising agency experience – in particular CRM 
    • A bias for action – doesn’t need to be prompted to take action.
    • Enduring passion for ideas; be they business, marketing or communication focused.
    • Ability to persuade and inspire agency resources and clients.
    • Analytical, with the ability to make the complex simple.
    • Disciplined, efficient and able to manage competing priorities to ensure timely delivery.
    • A profound curiosity about the creative process, consumer attitudes and behaviour, and the implications for how we communicate.
    • Highly developed listening and communication skills in a client environment, and within the agency. 
    • Strong attention to detail
