Job Description

Job Summary:

The Associate Product Manager will support the Senior Product Manager to run the day-to-day. Manages small to medium workstreams which includes interacting with the client team and development partners. Critical role in ensuring our output meets the capacity we align to in our SOW.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure on-scope and on-time completion of project deliverables for the projects you manage.
  • Interface with clients and partners in the delivery of the team’s work.
  • Work within project schedules overseeing deliverables for user experience design and visual design.
  • Supports day-to-day communications with internal team, by coordinating meetings, notes, status reports, task lists, etc.
  • Manage project risks, mitigate properly, and escalate when appropriate.
  • Work with Product Management leads for approvals on project schedules and revise them when necessary.
  • Proactively manage all the details throughout the project to ensure that all action-items and next steps are accomplished in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Comply with agency process related to resource allocation and project staffing.
  • Prioritize work, taking into consideration deadline, urgency, and complexity.
  • Attend required training to enhance knowledge.
  • Proactively keeps up on industry and client news, as well as current new technology trends.
  • Displays professional, articulate, mature presence in all aspects of relationship building.
  • Demonstrates professional stance, taking caution with client confidentiality and sensitive materials.
  • Completes tasks efficiently and with full accountability, producing high quality work with some direction.
  • Participates actively and can knowledgably articulate status internally or during client interactions.
  • Takes accountability to ensure that all team members are aware of timelines and deliverables.
  • Develops relationships with and forges seamless integration with all teams.

 

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience managing projects, or agency experience
  • Ability to manage small projects or components of complex project
  • Understanding of assembling and managing budgets
  • Ability to work within detailed work breakdown structures
  • A love of marketing and advertising and technology
  • Proven organizational skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Project and familiarity with online collaboration tools such as Basecamp, Box, Teams, etc.
  • Travel required when it is safe to do so
  • Nice to have: Love for travel
