Duties:  Conduct research into fundamental computer and information science. Research advanced and scalable algorithms in machine learning for use in areas related to advertising technology such as personalization, content processing, content selection, and audience and content optimization. Implement supervised and unsupervised machine learning algorithms for use in development of advertising technology, in programming languages such as Scala and Python. Manage data scientists in the Research and Development of machine learning algorithms for use in advertising technology. Design and develop scalable architecture for machine learning systems to run on distributed computing for use in content and audience optimization. Conduct data analysis of raw source and derived data, and conduct experiments in support of research and development in advertising technology for content and audience optimization.

Requirements: Employer will accept Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics, or related field; and 3 years of work experience in job offered or 3 years of work experience in a related occupation. Experience must include one year of experience with each of the following:

1)      using machine learning algorithms and techniques, including both supervised and unsupervised, to build predictive models for applications;

2)      using machine learning techniques to build and use cases related to classification, clustering, recommendation, and ranking;

3)      Python;

4)      Scala;

5)      SQL; and

6)      conducting data analysis and developing scalable algorithms related to advertising technology.
 

Must be available to work on projects at various, unanticipated sites throughout the United States.
