Job Description

We are looking for a qualified QA tester to join our team. You will be responsible to test in different digital channels and platforms (eCRM, website, eComm, etc.), their functionalities to ensure they meet the requirements from a technical and visual point of view.

Our ideal candidate is an experienced professional with demonstrable manual testing skills. As a QA Tester, you should perform well under deadlines and be detail-oriented. If you are also familiar with multiple CMS, html, CSS, we would like to meet you.

Ultimately, you should be able to collaborate with the delivery and technical teams in projects to ensure the deliveries meet the quality that is expected.

Roles & responsibilities

  • Test different channels and platforms by using testing tools to find issues and flag them to the delivery, editor and technical teams.
  • Collaborate with Project management and technical teams to understand the technical and visual requirements.
  • Build test pages in the CMS to support the editor team by providing good example. At the same time flag the technical issues.
  • Explore the limits of the CMS by trying to break the pages.

Qualifications

  • Web testing, mobile testing, accessibility testing, cross browser testing experience
  • Basic technical knowledge of HTML, CSS and web publishing
  • Understanding technical briefs (user stories) and designs.
  • Written and oral English skills
  • Ability to explain issues found clearly
  • Ability to perform audits and create reports
  • Ability to spot opportunities for improvement of web websites
  • Knowledge of widely used content management systems (Drupal, WP)
  • Ability to use common ticketing systems (Jira, Asana, Monday, etc.)

Nice to have

  • Advanced testing skills - automation, Selenium, Cucumber
  • Knowledge of SEO and web traffic metrics
  • Experience with Contentful CMS
