In-house Communications Manager

  • Full-time

Company Description

Who we are

Langland, a Publicis Health company, is the only health communications agency that thinks further across Clinical Trial Experience, Medical Strategy & Education, Public Relations & Policy, and Advertising, to create unique value with visionary clients.

What we believe

Health brings us together. In the diseases we suffer, the medicines we create, and the causes we champion, health shows us our collective humanity. When we break the barriers that divide us, when we think further, we can create healthier futures, together.

A passion for craft

Having expert thinking is only part of our story. To ensure excellence in everything we make, we have centred our disciplines around three essential crafts: science, strategy and creativity.

Job Description

Want to join a fast-paced, exciting agency working on some of the most exciting campaigns in healthcare? At Langland, every single project we work on aims to better people’s lives – and the in-house Communications team play an integral role in showcasing our success.

As Communications Manager, you’ll be a pivotal member of the cross agency team – working into our PR and Communications Lead to build Langland’s reputation in the industry, supporting business growth and talent attraction.

You’ll be working closely with the leadership team to gain an in-depth understanding of our four disciplines, unique agency offering and 2021 priorities. From this insight you’ll help to shape and implement a long-term communications plan that aligns with our overarching strategy. It’s an engaging role within a dynamic team, offering plenty of possibilities for personal and professional growth within Publicis Health.

Communications activities include development of an annual editorial calendar of thought leadership, social media strategy and implementation, media relations, advertising and recruitment marketing. If you’re excited by advances in medicine, passionate about the work you do and never stop pushing for the best – you’ll fit right in.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is organised, tenacious, great at story-telling, social media savvy and confident working as part of a team or independently. You’ll have exceptionally strong verbal and written communication skills – and be able to step up as a logical, confident voice to both the agency senior leadership team and other internal stakeholders.

If you’re ambitious, hard-working and ready to change how people see one of the biggest agencies in the world of healthcare – then we’d love to meet you. You’ll have experience in an agency and a strong grasp on the communications industry. Healthcare/corporate communications experience would be a bonus, but isn’t essential. We believe in finding the right person for the role and as such will consider part-time as well as full-time applicants (minimum of 3 days per week and these days can be split over five).

And if you like to Think Further, join the club. Here at Langland, we’re an open-minded bunch – always on the look-out for new ideas; whether that’s in the work we produce or a way of working. So if you want to approach something in a different way, we’ll be all ears.
