Job Location:   6021 Connection Drive, Irving, TX 75039 and various, unanticipated sites throughout the U.S.

 

Job Type:          Full Time

 

Duties:  Develop, create, and modify general computer applications. Develop, implement, support, design, and build scalable web-based application in an agile environment; participate in Design and Code review meetings; deploy applications to QA, UAT and staging environment; establish internal programming best practices and participate in research and development using new technologies; provide production support and troubleshoot the complex production problems; review error logs and assist in debugging; create monitoring applications to help provide insight to production environment statistics for quick resolution of issues; manage code merging and branching and perform the duties of a configuration controller; interact in all phases of the web application development life cycle; plan, initiate, and conduct the unit testing of applications as well as facilitate the system testing; assist other team members with development tasks or any technical solutions as needed; share technical and product knowledge with other team members; understand system performance and provide solutions to optimize the code and enterprise interactions; participate in technology/tools evaluation and software technical proof of concepts.

 

Requirements: Employer will accept Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or related field; and 3 years of work experience in job offered or 3 years of work experience in a related occupation. Experience must include one year of experience with each of the following:

1)      Java, SQL, and PL/SQL;

2)      J2EE, JSP, CSS, and Servlets;

3)      AJAX, JSON, and Java Scripts;

4)      SOAP and RESTful Webservices;

5)      XML, Spring MVC, and Struts Framework;

6)      UNIX and RDBMS;

7)      Software Design, Code Review, and conducting Unit Testing;

8)      Product Support and Debugging;

9)      Product Planning and delivery using Agile and Kanban software development;

10)  Source Control (Git, RTC);

11)  Code Build using Gradle, Ant, and Maven; and

12)  Product Monitoring using Influx, Prometheus, and Grafana.

 

Must be available to work on projects at various, unanticipated sites throughout the United States.
