Job Description

Martin Retail Group has an outstanding opportunity for an Assistant Account Executive to join our the MRG Marketing Resources team responsible for supporting client business.  Primary responsibilities are related to the development and distribution of internal and field communications.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Support the communication needs of the marketing teams
    • Coordinate between clients & agency to build and update materials critical to field teams and dealers
    • Work seamlessly and flexibly through several projects, deliverables and deadlines
    • Update and maintain status reports, spreadsheets and other tracking documents
    • Foster and maintain strong client and team relationships
      • Attend and participate in client meetings as needed
  • Lead the graphic development of various marketing communications & materials
    • Deliverables could be product, strategic and/or informational in nature
    • Assist in building decks for leadership, field and dealer meetings
    • Proofread written and graphic communications
    • Work with partner agencies to ensure consistency across all graphic elements
  • Serve as a strong brand advocate 
    • Have a strong understanding of the respective brand languages, look/feel and tonality
    • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the client product portfolios
    • Develop a foundational understanding of each brand’s strategic direction

Qualifications

  • 2-3+ years agency/marketing experience

SKILLS:

Looking for a self-starter that works independently.  Must be an organized and detail-oriented problem-solver with an entrepreneurial attitude and strategic mindset. Ability to multi-task and work effectively in a fast-paced client environment is essential.  Eager to learn. Strong written communication skills are also required.  Must be proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint.  Basic understanding of Excel & data/graph processing is a plus.  Must also be proficient in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator… InDesign is a plus.  An eye for detail is critical.  Minimum travel on an as-needed basis to support off site meetings.
