We are looking for more people to join our quickly growing UK Product Management team to help deliver new retail and banking solutions for our clients and their customers.
The specific role we are looking to fill within our Product Management team is a Business Analyst / Proxy Product Owner for our Retail Banking clients delivering business change and technical requirements to lead the evolution of our clients Product streams.

You will be central to helping our clients achieve industry leading improvements to their business, helping to define this change through a value driven lens to ensure maximum benefits.

And as a key member of the Product Management team, you will also play a key part in the next stage of our own transformation journey – collaborating with a design team to focus on improving the end-to-end service experience for our clients; collaborating with our engineering teams to ensure the right thing gets built in the right order. In doing so, you will help achieve the team’s aim to reduce internal handoffs between teams, improve request resolution times and ultimately allow colleagues to focus more on client needs. You will join a dynamic, co-located team who are passionate about new thinking and new ideas.

Your Impact:

• Through your experience, skills and abilities, you will help deliver retail banking market leading propositions to customers and drive significant value for both the end customer and our clients
• You will be a key member of a delivery team working with the latest delivery methods such as scaled agile as well as the latest technologies and Fintech solutions
• Working as closely with technical and experience teams as the client business stakeholders will be key to ensuring the clients' objectives are realised
• Be a key driving force to provide the understanding and adherence to a product mind-set across the multiple disciplines involved in delivering the change/transformation
• Advise and facilitate the management of development and business process improvement opportunities in relation to IT systems
• Lead initiatives within the Product Management Practice or wider community
• Constantly challenge the status quo and find innovative solutions to ensure the lab/teams meets the future needs of customers and colleagues

Your skills and experience:

You'll have significant experience delivering value into retail and/or commercial banking customers, with a true understanding of customer value and orientation. You'll be truly data driven with experience employing multiple research methods when looking for insights.

When it comes to the tech, you'll be able to demonstrate knowledge and application of systems thinking principles, methods and tools to examine and solve team/client/industry challenges. You'll also have the ability to describe/reframe a problem using proven techniques and facilitate teams/client to align on the challenge and to solve it by taking a customer-centric view. Ideally you'll have experience in gathering, modifying and analysing quantitative data through critical thinking, statistics, basic understanding and proficiency with data technologies (ex. XML, SQL) and data analysis/visualisation tools (ex. Excel, Tableau, Power BI, Looker).

Your market and business acumen means you can act as a consultant, interpreting business trends and market movements to identify customer problems and how we can solve them. Your views will be outcomes led, and you'll have the ability and experience in modelling the way to focus on outcomes, not just outputs and relentless improvement.

Your previous experience in the retail banking market means you have a strong grasp on both the current and future trajectory, based on trends, research and understands how to leverage the key market innovations to transform our clients.

Set Yourself Apart With:

• Ability to demonstrate an understanding of the latest technologies that are core to new digital banking propositions
• Ability to design a digital and cloud based operating model for retail and/or commercial banks
• Experience with building a new digital bank
• Experience with working with Google Cloud Platform
